We walk you through every step of the process, from blending your signature scent to properly setting your wick. This is a full hands-on experience where you will learn the art of working with wood wicks and high-quality wax. From start to finish, you are the artisan, crafting a custom piece that brings the cozy crackle and glow of a handmade candle into your home.

Every experience at Southern Timeless Candles begins with selecting your custom candle package and discovering the scents that speak to you most.
Explore our fragrance library and blend your own signature scent while creating a luxury candle completely unique to you. From modern matte vessels to our elegant specialty jars, every experience is thoughtfully guided while still giving you full creative freedom.
Our Signature Tin Experience begins at $60 and includes three wood wick candles with your custom fragrance blend. Guests looking for an elevated vessel can choose our Smoky Mountain Journey package for $85 or our decorative Gatlinburg Glow collection for $95.
Looking for the ultimate fragrance experience? Pair your candle-making experience with a custom perfume or cologne creation starting at $100.
Once your fragrance is selected, you’ll prepare your wax, blend your scent, and hand-pour your candle under the guidance of one of our studio hosts. Because we use high-quality wax, candles typically require about two hours to cure before they are ready to take home.
During that time, guests often enjoy another one of our in-studio experiences, explore Gatlinburg, or relax nearby while their candle cures.
Please note: your reservation fee is applied toward your in-studio experience total at the time of your appointment. You are not prepaying for the full experience online.
As an intimate luxury studio, reservations are highly recommended to secure your station, though walk-ins are always welcome as space allows.
Sand Candle Creations
If you are looking for a creative "grab and go" option, stop in and design one of our signature sand candles. These vibrant, granulated waxes come pre-fragranced with our favorite seasonal scents, so they are ready for you to start layering immediately.
This experience is perfect for those who want to jump right into the artistic process. You can mix and match colors to create beautiful patterns and unique designs in your vessel. Because the wax is already set, there is no wait time for curing—your one-of-a-kind creation is ready to take home the moment you finish. It is a fun, fast, and colorful way to capture a memory of your visit.
Calling All Bachelorettes!!
Celebrate the bride-to-be with an all-inclusive, private party designed for laughter and luxury. This immersive 2 to 3-hour experience offers your crew a VIP atmosphere in a beautifully decorated private space where every detail is handled for you. Each guest will participate in a hands-on Candle Making Experience to craft three signature wood-wick tins and a Perfume Making Experience to design a completely custom scent. As a special celebration, the bride receives a complimentary 30ml bottle of perfume tailored for her honeymoon.
To keep the celebration fueled, we provide a gallon of tea, a gallon of lemonade, and two fresh pizzas from Smoky Mountain Brewery. Please note that you will be prompted to list your specific pizza topping choices during the reservation process so everything is hot and ready upon your arrival. Because this is a private, curated event, planning ahead for your visit is very important; space is limited and appointments for these sessions fill up fast. This exclusive package is available on Thursdays and Fridays for $145 per person, providing a seamless blend of creativity, dining, and celebration.
If you are celebrating a different occasion—whether it is a birthday, retirement, or baby shower—and still want the perks of this package, including themed decorations, a private space, the bundle package, food, and drinks, we are happy to accommodate. We will even include the complimentary 30ml bottle of perfume or cologne for your guest of honor. Just mark the occasion in the notes during booking and we will adjust everything accordingly to fit your specific celebration.
