Your Visit
Every experience at Southern Timeless Candles begins with a little creativity and a lot of fun. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or enjoying a date night, you'll create a custom wood wick candle that's uniquely yours.
Start by choosing the candle package that's right for you, with experiences starting at just $40. Then explore our fragrance library, where you'll blend your own signature scent from our collection of premium fragrances. From classic matte tins to our beautiful specialty vessels, every candle is handcrafted by you with guidance from one of our studio hosts every step of the way.
Looking for something even more memorable? Pair your candle-making experience with our custom perfume or cologne experience to create a signature fragrance that's uniquely yours.
Once you've perfected your scent, you'll blend it into our premium wax and hand-pour your candle. Because we use a high-quality wax blend for exceptional performance, candles typically need about 2 hours to cure before they're ready to head home with you.
While your candle cures, many guests choose to create another custom product in our studio, explore the shops and attractions around Gatlinburg, or simply relax nearby before returning to pick up their finished candle.
Your reservation fee is applied toward the cost of your in-studio experience, so you're not paying for the full experience online—you're simply reserving your seat.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a unique thing to do in Gatlinburg, we'd love to help you create something unforgettable. Reservations are recommended to guarantee your station, but walk-ins are always welcome whenever space is available.
Sand Candle Creations
If you are looking for a creative “grab-and-go” option, stop in and design one of our signature sand candles. This quick and colorful experience ranges from $10–$20 and is perfect for guests looking for something fun, artistic, and easy to take home.
These vibrant granulated waxes come pre-fragranced with some of our favorite seasonal scents, so you can jump right into layering and designing your candle immediately.
Mix and match colors to create beautiful patterns and one-of-a-kind designs inside your chosen vessel. Because the wax is already set, there is no wait time for curing — your custom creation is ready to take home the moment you finish.

Celebrate the bride-to-be with an exclusive private event designed to be one of the highlights of your Gatlinburg getaway.
The Ultimate Bachelorette Experience is more than an activity—it's your group's own private celebration. From the moment you arrive, your beautifully decorated event space is reserved exclusively for your party, allowing you to relax, celebrate, and create unforgettable memories together without sharing your experience with other guests.
Each guest will enjoy a Signature Candle Making Experience (a $60 value) where you'll hand-pour your own premium wood wick candle, along with a Signature Perfume Making Experience (a $75 value) to create a completely custom fragrance that is uniquely yours. That's $135 in premium experiences for every guest before any of the exclusive event amenities are even included.
To make the celebration effortless, we've taken care of everything else. Your private event includes themed decorations, your own music, two fresh pizzas from Smoky Mountain Brewery, one gallon of tea, one gallon of lemonade, guided instruction throughout both experiences, and elegant packaging for your handcrafted creations. Simply include your preferred pizza toppings in the reservation notes, and everything will be prepared and waiting when your group arrives.
As our gift to the bride, she'll receive a complimentary 30ml custom perfume—the perfect signature fragrance to wear throughout her honeymoon and a keepsake she'll treasure long after the celebration ends.
All of this is included for just $145 per guest, making it one of Gatlinburg's most unique and value-packed private group experiences.
Because each event is privately hosted and individually prepared, reservations require at least one week's advance notice. Private experiences are currently available Thursday through Sunday during select reservation times.

This exclusive private experience can be customized for birthdays, girls' trips, bridal showers, retirements, baby showers, family celebrations, and more.
